When Vaccines for Children (VFC) funding for underinsured was eliminated, the Weber Morgan Health Department contacted Midtown with the hope that the two entities would be able to collaborate during school vaccination clinics. Each week, one of Midtown's medical assistants traveled to a local schools to adminster vaccines to under-insured students while the health department managed the other attendees. In result, all children were served at the events without requiring additional referrals.
