Are you ready to make a difference in your community? As an AmeriCorps member you will play an important role in reducing barriers to healthcare in our state. Your service will impact lives and augment the ability of state-wide health care organizations to deliver quality services and programs to Utah’s medically underserved. AmeriCorps and the Medically Underserved in Utah is currently accepting applications.
Candidates must be highly motivated individuals who are committed to serving their community with professionalism and compassion.
Membership in AmeriCorps and the Medically Underserved in Utah requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least eightteen years or older
- Proof of US citizenship or permanent resident status
- One year commitment
Preference is given to:
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English candidates
- Experience in social service.
Benefits for full-time membership:
- Living stipend, ~$980/month (pre-tax)

- Post service education award of $5350 (Can be used for student loans or secondary education.)
The AMUU program year begins October 1st, and we accept applications year-round.
