Employment Opportunities
[ Programs & Services ] OUTREACH & ENROLLMENT

The goal of the Outreach and Enrollment Program is to increase Medicaid, Primary Care Network (PCN), and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) enrollment through state-level advocacy and community-based strategies. AUCH works with the Utah Department of Health (UDOH) to remove barriers to enrollment and assist health centers in ensuring that any individual in the community who is eligible for Medicaid, PCN, or CHIP is enrolled and able to use the available services.

The outreach goal of the O&E program is to assist families, individuals, and health centers to gain access to services and resources available in the community. The program works with special populations in targeted areas designing, coordinating, and implementing outreach activities and facilitating access to specific services. The special populations targeted by this program include:

Ethnic minority groups
Migrant and seasonal farm workers
Gay/Lesbian community members
Rural residents of Utah
Underserved/uninsured individuals and families
Low-income families
