    An introduction to the role of nursing-led dementia assessments and how the role of narrative medicine plays into a successful assessment.
  • Session 2 February 16th, 12-1 pm MST:
    Features an introduction to the video assessment tool and its utilization. An interactive exercise based upon a portion of the video and from skills developed from Session One will focus on the listening portion of the assessment.
  • Session 3 February 23th, 12-1 pm MST:
    A discussion on available community resources and how to access them.

OVERVIEW: Join us for a three-part series to help identify your patients with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. The diagnosis of dementia, in any form, is life-changing and leads to many questions. In this three-part series, you will hear from nurse clinicians and others on how to accurately assess and develop strategies to assist patients and their families as they begin their journey through this period of life.
