Mountainlands East Bay Clinic Ribbon Cutting

Mountainlands Community Health Center (MCHC) is one of four grantees in Utah to receive Affordable Care Act funding to expand access to healthcare services.  Mountainlands will open the East Bay Clinic, co-located with the Food and Care Coalition, in September 2015.  The clinic will provide primary healthcare services, including medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare, for people experiencing homelessness in the Provo area.

“We are proud to receive funding that will allow us to provide much needed healthcare services to a currently underserved population” said Todd Bailey, Executive Director of MCHC.

“The Food and Care Coalition is excited to partner with Mountainlands Community Health Center in providing new and enhanced medical services to Utah County’s homeless population,” said Brent Crain, President and CEO of the Food & Care Coalition.  “This collaborative relationship will result in a new access point for medical services, substance abuse counseling, and mental health support while offering cost savings to both the client and the community.”

Please join Mountainlands Family Health Center as they cut the ribbon on their new East Bay Clinic on Thursday, August 27th at 2:00pm.
