Customer Service: The Art of Caring

Please join CHAMPS and Colorado Community Health Network (CCHN) for more of the 2015 “Lunchtime Learning” Professional Skill Development Distance Learning Series!  These six one-hour webcasts take place between April and September, and are designed to provide professional and skill development to CHC staff.  Staff members from all levels of the health center are welcome.  All events are FREE for participants from Health Center Program Grantees, FQHC Look-Alikes, and Primary Care Associations in Region VIII!

EVENT #2: CUSTOMER SERVICE – THE ART OF CARING

Target Audience:  Health center employees at all levels.

Overview and Objectives:  Providing a high level of customer service is critical in every area of a health center, yet both knowledge and skill are necessary to handle difficult situations and exceed customer expectations.  This training discusses the critical importance of service excellence and provides a wide range of concrete tools and techniques for making exceptional service part of every interaction.  By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the critical nature of service excellence in community health care
  • Gain skills to handle challenging CHC situations with confidence, competence and caring
  • Increase the positive impact of every interaction
  • Strengthen communication skills through listening, hearing and reacting to both spoken and unspoken messages
  • Strengthen the culture of service excellence at their health centers

Registration:  This event will take place online, and advance registration is required.  (Register once per computer being used.)  Handouts and log-in information will be emailed to all registrants the day before the event.
