Relational Leadership: Community, connection, and leveraging the head and the heart.

We understand that the health care industry changes at a pace unmatched in nearly any other field and that health care teams encounter new innovations, improvement initiatives, and policies on a daily basis. Integrating new practices, ideas, and approaches while ensuring quality care isn’t easy.

Primary Care Progress (PCP) provides each participant with actionable skills and practices that nurture their own professional growth and the cohesiveness of the team. By learning relational leadership techniques, you will learn what motivates and inspires you and your colleagues. You will begin the move from operating in silos to establish inclusive, collaborative spaces that promote trust, psychological safety, and interdependent teamwork.

Upcoming workshops being offered to AUCH members are centered on the three following topics:

  • What’s Your Story? Narrative Leadership for Stronger Connections and Communities
  • Psychological Safety: A Prescription for More Effective Teams
  • This Won’t Hurt a Bit: Creating a Culture of Feedback
